About Daddison Construction
Derek Addison, a graduate of Stephens County High School in Toccoa Ga, moved to Athens, GA in 1995 to begin college. As a way to support himself during college, Derek began working for Subway stores as an assistant manager. Derek was quickly promoted to consultant and ultimately managed 10 stores. Derek graduated from Piedmont College in December 2000 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration.
In October 1999, Derek embarked on a new route of Subway adventures as a builder and thus, Daddison Construction was created. “I started Daddison Construction with the goal of bringing high quality, efficient, ethical, and friendly construction services to my clients” says Derek
Over the last 15 years, Daddison Construction has completed over 350 projects across the Southeast for a variety of companies that include State Farm, Subway, Papa Johns, Barberitos, & Blimpies. Because of a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Daddison Construction is considered a “preferred builder” by Subway.
When asked what he finds most rewarding in his work Derek replies “I really enjoy seeing a project completed on time, within budget, and in a manner that shows commitment to high quality work. I’m not satisfied until the client is satisfied.”
Derek and his lovely wife Sarah married in April 2005 after a four- year friendship blossomed into romance. They welcomed their first child, Dylan, in January 2008 and their second child, Isabella, in May 2011. Completing the family are 2 Labrador dogs, Duke and Murray.
In spite of his busy schedule as owner of Daddison Construction, Derek embarked on a new opportunity that would combine his years of experience in construction with that of becoming certified in property damage restoration. Recently, Derek became an owner of PuroClean by Daddison, an independently owned and operated restoration company that serves Northeast Georgia including Athens, Gainesville, Jefferson, and the surrounding areas.
Daddison Construction is an active member of the Jackson County Builder’s Association as well as the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
